Make your own bone broth

Which bones to buy, how long to simmer and how to store it: read how to make bone broth.

Short on time?

Our concentrate does the long simmer for you: the bones are slow-cooked for 48 hours, because the longer bones cook, the more collagen comes out. Add a teaspoon or two to hot water, or use it in any recipe above. It is made from 100% grass-fed cattle from Australia and New Zealand.

Delivery is free and takes up to 3-5 working days. You get tracking when your parcel leaves the warehouse. If you do not like it within 30 days, message us and we will refund your money. You can reach us at care@bestbonebroth.com.

FAQ

What can I make with bone broth? Drink it from a mug, or use it in soups, stews, curries, gravy and sauces. You can also add it to the water when you cook rice or other grains.

Can I use bone broth concentrate instead of stock in a recipe? Yes, in soups, stews, gravy and sauces. Use a teaspoon or two of concentrate for each mug of liquid the recipe asks for, stirred into hot water. Taste before you add salt, because the concentrate contains evaporated sea salt.

How much concentrate do I need for soup? Use a teaspoon or two for each mug of hot water. If your soup needs 4 mugs of water, that is 4 to 8 teaspoons. Start with less and taste as you go.

Which flavour should I use in recipes? Each recipe post names the flavour it was written for. If you want to season the dish yourself, Original Beef has only beef and evaporated sea salt. Garlic & Herb is the one we point to for cooking. Turmeric tastes warmer, and Mushroom has the deepest savoury flavour.

Can I make bone broth from scratch instead? Yes. Our guide on how to make bone broth takes you from the bones to the storage.

How long does an opened bottle last? Up to 4-6 weeks once opened, kept in the fridge with the lid on.

Is it suitable for babies or pets? It is not suitable for babies because of the sodium. For cats and dogs, use Original Beef only, and no more than half a teaspoon at a time. Our other flavours are not for pets.
