FAQ
Can I use a different flavour? Yes. The recipe is written for Turmeric, so any other flavour will change the taste of the broth. Original Beef is the simplest choice: beef and evaporated sea salt, nothing else.
How much concentrate do the ramen bowls use? 4 teaspoons in 6 cups (1.5L) of water. The water is heated until boiling, then the kale cooks in it for 1 minute.
Can I freeze leftover ramen broth? The Food Standards Agency says leftovers can be frozen if you think you will not eat them within 48 hours. It says to defrost food in the fridge, and to only take out of the freezer what you intend to use within 24 hours of defrosting.
